Processing Instructions for TuningFilm Iridescent:

It is important that all surfaces are cleaned form dust using soapy water and grease by using isopropanol alcohol. Compatibility tests should be carried out before use.

Application:

• Onto flat or slightly curved surfaces – apply directly using the dry application method
• Onto convex areas – heat the film with a heat gun before conforming the film over the convex shape
• Onto corrugated or concave areas – it is recommended that you cut the film and apply it without tension as if it is stretched into the corrugation it may pop-out after a few weeks
• Onto rivets – apply the film with high pressure and heat with a heat gun to an air temperature of over 500°C. Please note the film may lift slightly after a few weeks
• Onto boats – edge sealing is recommended

Removability:

Removability is easy once the film is heated and leaves almost no adhesive residue behind. Any remaining residue can be removed using isopropanol alcohol. Please note removability is only warranted on original manufacturer coating.
