Processing instructions for Brushed BF:

It is important to clean all surfaces using soapy water to remove dust and isopropanol alcohol to remove any grease. It is also recommended that you carry out compatibility tests before use.

Application:

• Onto flat or slightly curved surfaces – apply directly with the dry application method.
• Onto convex areas – heat the film with a heat gun before conforming it over the convex area.
• Onto corrugated or concave areas – if the film is stretched into a corrugation it may pop-out after a few weeks. It is, therefore, recommended to cut the film and to apply it in the corrugation without tension.
• Onto rivets – apply the film over the rivet with high pressure and heat it with a heat gun (air temperature over 500°C). The film may lift slightly after few weeks.
• Onto boats – it is recommended that you seal the edges

Removability:

Once heated, these films are easy to remove and any adhesive residues can be removed with isopropanol alcohol. Removability is warranted only on original manufacturer coating.

Important remarks:

• It is important not to overheat or over stretch these films to avoid damaging the structured appearance.
• TuningFilm Brushed BF are easily scratched and should be handled carefully
