FOREX®classic is the original foam PVC invented by Airex in Switzerland (now known as 3A Composites) and still manufactured at the original factory site in Sins.
FOREX®classic is denser than many foam PVCs. It has a closed cell structure and is designed for applications that require a more robust product such as: site boards, cladding, eye-level signage and hoarding panels. FOREX®classic is renowned as the most consistent and high quality foam PVC in the market today and one of the few that can offer a full thickness range from 1mm to 24mm thick.
FOREX®classic sheets can be cut with jigsaws, band saws and circular saws. A combination of high cutting speed and a low feed rate gives good results. FOREX®classic can be cut on machines without liquid cooling but with chip and dust extraction devices as commonly used in the wood and plastic processing industries.
FOREX®classic offers a wide range of excellent properties like the high stability despite minimal weight, the excellent print substrate, the fire rated to DIN 41002 class B1 offers many different applications. FOREX®classic is widely used in signage, exhibitions, interior design, PoS/PoP advertising and displays, modelmaking, shopfitting and printing. For these applications we offer a range of different processing technologies.
