AURA® 120 and 121

Processing instructions for AURA® 120 and 121:

Printing:

AURA. 120 and 121 can both be printed by solvent screen printing. Due to the acrylic top-coat on AURA. 121, these films can also be printed using UV Screen Printing.

You should carry out ink compatibility and adhesion tests before use. In order to maintain high reflection, it is recommended that transparent inks are used.

Application:

• It is not recommended that these films are applied to unpainted stainless steel surfaces
• Use a firm rubber roller or plastic squeegee to apply the film, applying firm pressure to bond the adhesive to the application surface
• It is recommended that the dry application method only is used
• It is possible that some automotive paints may continue to out gas which could lead to bubbling of the film. It is therefore important to ensure painted surfaces are fully cured prior to application
• Durability of the films can be enhanced by over-laminating with a gloss, cast vinyl over-laminate film

Applications:

AURA. reflective vinyls can be used in a wide range of applications including work-zone signing, vehicle striping, real estate signage and long-range bar code scanning labels.
