With a range of 10 colour combinations, this HPL is used in a variety of market segments including the sign making industry, electrical and water trades.

Engraving Laminate was originally designed for interior applications such as name plates, door signs, engraved plates etc. however more recently its usages have broadened because of the colour range available and the tough, hard but extremely smooth surface the product has.

By engraving through the surface a coloured middle layer is revealed which distinguishes the surface from the middle core by giving a bold and visual impact. Specialist metallic and decorative finishes are available as well as plain dry wipe board and chalk board varieties. All are available ex-stock.

The ABET range is suitable for some printers, however it is recommended that testing is carried out prior to purchase to ensure compatibility.

Properties & advantages at a glance

When machining, the usual safety requirements should be observed. In particular, dust extraction should be in place and dusk mask and eye protection should be worn at all times.

Application onto interior walls:

Engraving Laminates are not only used for signs and nameplates but also in other  various industries. For example, Yellow engraving laminate is now synonymous with the electrical industry and orange with the water trade.
