White 50 micron premium cast translucent light-management films that are designed to provide light diffusion on internally florescent illuminated signs.  Durable and dimensionally stable.  Developed for flat, second surface applications on many substrates, such as polycarbonate or acrylic sheets and as an under-laminate for 3M™ Scotchcal Translucent Films.

  • 3635-30: 40% light transmission for florescent applications
  • 3635-70: 60% light transmission for florescent applications

Properties & advantages at a glance
  • Up to 7 years durability
  • Neutral density translucent films which have been developed to offer better light diffusion and uniformity across the entire sign face.
  • They can be used to create varying degrees of illumination with a back-lit sign face. For example, diffuser films can be applied behind a background colour or secondary line of text to reduce its brightness, while a logo, for example can be fully illuminated for maximum emphasis. Suitable for second surface application only.
  • May be thermoformed
  • Series 3635-30/-70 are not intended nor warranted for application to the first (front) surface of sign faces unless this film is completely covered by another layer of 3M™ Scotchcal™ 3630 Film.
