About Foam board for posters
Another super light board for this application is foam sheet. The foamed core of the board has a top layer of solid High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) on both sides. About PVC foam for posters
When a poster is hung in such a way that it has to be lightweight, PVC foam is an excellent choice. The lightly foamed PVC sheet has a satin smooth, super-hard surface. Due to the foamed core of the material, it guarantees a weight saving of no less than 50% compared to its solid counterparts. The impact-resistant strong sheet is easy to work with 'normal' tools. As a poster material it is not limited to indoor spaces, it can also be used outdoors, especially due to the temperature range of -20 to 65 °C.
