About Foam board for posters

Another super light board for this application is foam sheet. The foamed core of the board has a top layer of solid High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) on both sides. Because no glue is used in production, it is possible to recycle the material at 100%. It is extremely suitable for large standing poster carriers as well as for other advertising carriers. Economic and ecological reasons are often the deciding factor in choosing foam board.

About PVC foam for posters

When a poster is hung in such a way that it has to be lightweight, PVC foam is an excellent choice. The lightly foamed PVC sheet has a satin smooth, super-hard surface. Due to the foamed core of the material, it guarantees a weight saving of no less than 50% compared to its solid counterparts. The impact-resistant strong sheet is easy to work with 'normal' tools. As a poster material it is not limited to indoor spaces, it can also be used outdoors, especially due to the temperature range of -20 to 65 °C.

About HIPS for posters

HIPS offers the possibility to process your poster on a polystyrene surface. HIPS is excellent for this because it is a sturdy flat material. The material is often a permanent choice for designers because of the printing options. However, HIPS could also be used as a poster background. HIPS is sturdy, doesn't absorb water and is less sensitive to damage making it perfect for short-term use outdoors throughout the year. Amari Plastics keeps a large stock range of HIPS , which means many designs and sizes are available.
