DIBOND®digital is the first aluminium composite material with a lacquer system that is optimised for direct to substrate digital printing. The surface provides advanced ink adhesion for UV curing and solvent based inks. The extreme flatness of the sheet allows printing of very fine images at increased printing speeds.

Processing instructions for DIBOND®digital

DIBOND®digital can be cut with jigsaws, band saws and circular saws. A combination of high cutting speed and a slow feed rate gives good results.

  • 0.2mm aluminium skin layers
  • Thickness tolerance of only 0.2mm
  • UV resistant
  • Used at temperatures of up to 80oC resulting in two remarkable advantages: first, the UV lamps
    would not cause any distortion and second, the material can be used outside being resistant to any temperature changes
